I live in Asheville,
North Carolina - in the Blue Ridge Mountains. 
An area of constantly beautiful inspiration. 
I take my love of paint - and combine it with the inspiration of the area around me and make oil paintings that are highly color saturated. 
I paint with palette knives to create texture.   
Color and texture, light and dark.

I am interpreting what I see, not recording it. In the process of paint and knives, wonderful surprises happen and the painting takes on a life of its own. It is much better that way than if I planned it.

My desire is to create beautiful paintings that you will look at again and again.

I have a work/studio where you can see my paintings in person.  It is in Asheville River Art District, 357 Depot Street, NorthLight Studios, open Thursday, Friday Saturday, 10 - 4 or by appointment.
